I cant deal anymore with 23% apr!! i havent even spent 8,000, i just am paying all these finance and interest charges…any ideas what I should do? Which credit card is best to transfer this balance so i can pay it off with 0% apr in 1 year?
Student loans transfer to 0% APR Credit Card?
I have some student loans. I plan to transfer it to my credit card that offer 0% APR in 12 months. Would this be a wise decision or not? I will repay it within the 12 months. That way there will be no interest on my part. However, will this affect my tax refunds, such as decreasing my refunds. Last year I had a huge refund, which I think is due to the student loans that I am paying. Thank you for your educated input!

Wanna know how to get a 0% APR car payment?
Listen here, are you sick n tired of paying that 7% every month going straight to the car dealer. Get this, use all the financing out there to get a 0% APR financing. I just recently purchased a 2007 vehicle and im paying 5 a month. But this is interest free.. I also received a 0% APR financing credit card for a year. Guess what i did.. Put it on the card, and pay off the card as much as possible. Get this the credit card rate after that is only 6.5%. So even if i cant pay it all off, im still paying less. But here is the real trick, i get these 0% cards pretty regularly, dont you? Guess what im gonna be doing by 10 months from now. Paying off my first credit card with this second one. Now i have another year, interest free! I have no doubt ill have this car paid off in full interest free in 3 years tops. If you dont have great credit, then this might be difficult, but talk to your parents if your young enough, they can back you. It works! dont pay interest ever again!

Are there credit cards with no interest rate or fees for 6 months?
I see that there are several credit cards that offer 0% APR for 6 or 12 months, but what exactly does that mean? I already have 3 credit cards, but I pay them off in full every month so I’ve never paid attention to fees.
Right now I’d like to buy a laptop for school, and pay it off in 6 months but I don’t want to pay any extra fees or interest rate in this period, is this what 0% introductory APR cards are for? And are there any hidden fees I should watch out for?
Thanks.

Why would anyone pay an APR on a credit card when you can get one with 0% introductory rate for 1 year?
A lot credit cards today give you 12-18 months with 0% APR…..After the intro period is up just cancel the card and go on to another one that is offering the same type of promotion. I just don’t understand why anyone would pay 20-30 APR on money they can virtually have for free!!!!! I am about to graduate college and just got my first card last year so I don’t know if this is a good or bad thing to do for my credit. Please let me know!!!!

0% APR Intro Credit Card and Finance Charge Question?
So I recently received a new credit card with a 12 mos. 0% intro APR amex card. I got it to make a purchase for the holidays and give myself time to take advantage of the 0% APR and make payments over time with the 0% APR.
My question is when I receive my first bill and make the minimum payment stated on the statement, will I be charged any fees or charges? I know there wont be interest since I have 0% APR for 12 mos, but the question is, if I only pay the minimum and plan to pay off the balance within the next few months will i be charged anything?
For example: Lets say I charge a total of 0 and instead of paying the full 0 when the first bill comes, instead I make the minimum stated payment, what happens? do i get charged a finance charge or do i not since i made at least the minimum payment?
I believe the amex card i just applied for and received uses the daily average rate, not entirely sure how that works and if i will get charged the finance charge even if i make the minimum payments. Please help explain. Thank you!!

Which is the best credit card to get after bankruptcy?
I recently filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and have begun to receive numerous credit card offers by mail. I want to begin repairing my credit so that I can buy a house within the next 2-3 years. However, I want to be extra careful about the card I choose. What sort of things should I look for in a credit card offer? I recently received an offer from Capital One with the following terms: no annual fee, 0%APR for 6 months (12.9% thereafter) and at least ,000 in credit. It also states that automatic credit increases will be made to the account if you use the card within 90 days and make the first three minimum payments on time. It sounds sort of reasonable to me but I’ve also read a lot of negative things about Capital One. Should I just wait some more until I get better credit card offers from other banks? What are my options? Thanks.

The best credit card to choose if I need 0% apr and have fair credit?
I have 2-3 credit cards I have closed because I wanted to ensure that I would pay them off; but in order to pay them off quicker I will need 0% apr. Also my score will most likely go from Good to Fair because I chose to close the couple I had.
