Is American Express a good credit card?

What are the benefits? How does it compare to others credit card companies? I just like it, because I love the way it looks. It’s very stylish, I think. Also "American Express" has a nice ring to it.

What's the best cash back credit card?

I don’t need any good low interest credit cards. I always pay in full so that isn’t a problem. I don’t want a card with an annual fee.

So currently I have two cash back credit cards.

1.
3% cash back on gas, groceries, fastfood, and 1% on all others.

2. 3% cash back on resturants, office supplies, and i think something else. 1% on all other.

So i’m thinking if there is another credit card that offers cash back on different stuff that is like 3% or higher, why not get one?

Is there one that gives cash back for entertainment? I don’t want any sony credit cards or something that is only for certain stores. I want a Visa, Mastercard, American Express.

Does AE offer like 5% for resturants? and wireless bills?
I have like sprint internet where you can use it anywhere and it’s a usb device but i believe it counts as a wireless bill. I also don’t want miles. I don’t fly so those are useless to me. I just want cash back. CASH. I want to earn money.

What credit card gives back the best benefits?

I’m looking into getting another credit card that gives the best CASH BACK compared to all the others. We have cards that give us 1% back on all purchases, but I want something with better rewards. We have an American Express and it gives good cash back 1% to 3%, but is there a Visa card that gives equivalent rewards to the American Express?

Your Best Travel Rewards Credit Card?

I was thinking of getting more rewards through a travel rewards credit card. I was also wondering what is the best travel rewards card that offers more with less risk and restrictions such as expired points, etc. I was thinking of getting the Blue Sky Travel Card from American Express. Basically, what offers more for your money spent, in terms of travel?
I’ve tried researching some but it’s way too many cards out there to compare all of them. So thanks and I’d appreciate any experience you share by using the travel rewards (Was it as easy as redeeming your points or did you have to go through layers of customer service reps, etc?)
And travel can be either flying, sailing, or both. Thanks, again!

Can you use Visa Gift cards to order from anywhere on the web that accepts VISA ?

My mom says you can use Visa Gift Cards, just like a credit card, but I have mixed feelings about that, because Gift Cards can’t compare to Visa/American Express/or Mastercards.

People take years establishing credit, and Gift Cards take minutes/instant credit.

I don’t need a long detailed answer, just a brief explanation.

Can you use Visa Gift cards to order from anywhere on the web that accepts VISA ?

THANKS !!

Credit Repair – Credit Cards – Does the type of card make a difference?

I found a huge credit card directory… Does the credit card you apply for make a difference on your credit report?

If I apply for a poor credit credit card – http://www.affiliatetier.com/credit_repair/credit_cards.php – Would this effect my credit report?

If I apply for a really great credit card like American Express Blue: http://www.affiliatetier.com/credit_repair/credit_cards.php?review=23 – Would this look good on my credit report if I am approved? And would this look really bad on my report if I am denied compared to a poor credit credit card?

I have been reviewing all the credit cards: http://www.affiliatetier.com/credit_repair/credit_cards.php & found http://www.affiliatetier.com/credit_repair/credit_cards.php?review=23 to have an overall rating and benefit rating as the highest so far… I am scared to apply if I get turned down and it shows on my credit report as being turned down by a GOOD credit card…

Any tips on re-negotiating APR on credit card, or extending the 0% deal?

I currently have a Washingto Mututal credit card that still has 0% APR until September 2007. I’ve been using the card but paying it in full every month. When the 0% expires, the APR will go up to 9.9%.

I applied for an American Express Blue card because of the 0% offer up to 15 months. I received it today and the offer is only good for 6 months, then my APR will go up to 19.23%.

Can I re-negotiate extending the 0% offer with either of these cards? Any tips on doing that? Is there also a way to re-negotiate my APR with American Express, or should I just cancel that card? (People told me AMEX is a good card to have, but I think the APR is ridiculous compared to my other card!)

These cards will only be used in emergencies and will pretty much be paid in full each month. Also, my credit score is in the 730 range. Any advice would be appreciated!
