0% APR Intro Credit Card and Finance Charge Question?

So I recently received a new credit card with a 12 mos. 0% intro APR amex card. I got it to make a purchase for the holidays and give myself time to take advantage of the 0% APR and make payments over time with the 0% APR.
My question is when I receive my first bill and make the minimum payment stated on the statement, will I be charged any fees or charges? I know there wont be interest since I have 0% APR for 12 mos, but the question is, if I only pay the minimum and plan to pay off the balance within the next few months will i be charged anything?

For example: Lets say I charge a total of 0 and instead of paying the full 0 when the first bill comes, instead I make the minimum stated payment, what happens? do i get charged a finance charge or do i not since i made at least the minimum payment?

I believe the amex card i just applied for and received uses the daily average rate, not entirely sure how that works and if i will get charged the finance charge even if i make the minimum payments. Please help explain. Thank you!!

Has anyone ever have/had a bad experiences with CAPITAL ONE credit cards?

I’m contemplating on swtching to capital one from my current credit card but my friend told me not to. They said once I applied with Capital One, they mess around with my credit scores. I have an excellent credit scores and am thinking on getting a new car here pretty soon and a house next year. So I don’t really want to risk jeopardizing my credit scores just for it. However Capital has credit card withan awesome APR and benefits compare to my current ones. Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
Roger : Not being charged for foreign transactions is one of my biggest reason considering Capital One too. But how exactly do they not reporting the right kind of figures to the credit bureau? Do you have any experiences related to that? Btw I always pay my balance in full every month that’s why I choosed Amex but more and more business refused to take Amex nowadays so it’s kind of more of a hassle than convenient to carry my Amex.

The Best Credit Card.?

I’m thinking of switching my Amex Clear to another credit card. I like Amex and their customer service is awesome but less and less businesses out there using Amex service anymore due to their high service charge. So it’s very inconvenience for me. I thought of getting Capital One credit cards but very alarmed on how many people got trouble because of it. All the research that I did make me even confuse so I’m just going to ask a real people who have a real experiences with their credit cards, Who have the best credit card offer out there…and if the company also have a great customer service (meaning any issues or concerns are satisfactorily resolved in timely manner) I have an excellent credit score thus I don’t want any credit card company that will mess around with it either… Thank you for your help
Anyone has Chase, Citi Bank or Bank One credit cards? I always pay my balance full every month but I still need a good low apr just in case…

What is the difference between how AMEX cards work as compared to other credit cards?

I’m fairly new to this. What do you think of the Starwood Preferred Guest card specifically? If I were to have another credit card that I might have a balance on for over 25-30 days, which card would be my best bet if I wanted a really low APR and wasn’t concerned about rewards(or alternately if I did want rewards either in cash or miles.. other)? Is it worth signing up for the rewards program on my AMEX Corporate green card, which equates to the the same rewards as a gold card, or is the Starwood card better(advantages / disadvantages)?

Any tips on re-negotiating APR on credit card, or extending the 0% deal?

I currently have a Washingto Mututal credit card that still has 0% APR until September 2007. I’ve been using the card but paying it in full every month. When the 0% expires, the APR will go up to 9.9%.

I applied for an American Express Blue card because of the 0% offer up to 15 months. I received it today and the offer is only good for 6 months, then my APR will go up to 19.23%.

Can I re-negotiate extending the 0% offer with either of these cards? Any tips on doing that? Is there also a way to re-negotiate my APR with American Express, or should I just cancel that card? (People told me AMEX is a good card to have, but I think the APR is ridiculous compared to my other card!)

These cards will only be used in emergencies and will pretty much be paid in full each month. Also, my credit score is in the 730 range. Any advice would be appreciated!

How to disclose poor credit after job offer?

The interviews went very well and I landed a (tech) job offer that I accepted. However, I have a poor credit score due to a bankruptcy declared two years ago. What should I do when I will be asked to sign for credit check and for a company credit card (amex who certainly will refuse) on the first day? Could the company rescind the offer? What should I do now that I already resigned from my previous employer?
