What company is best for my first credit card?

i was offered a Chase Slate card in the mail. I won’t be using it except for emergencies. Is this a good credit card or are there better ones? Also, how else can I start building my credit?
Thanks

How profitable is it joining a credit union compare to a bank? Houston, TX Credit Unions members advise prefer

After extensive research, for a friend and me, I found out that Credit Unions are the best places to obtain a credit card, and loans. I live in Houston, Texas and found many options for a credit union so I don’t know which one to choose in terms of getting a good credit card with fraud protection and all that kind of stuff that a credit card from a bank like Chase have, a saving and checking accounts with no or < fees on each, and good range on loans.

I know the website that tells me which credit unions they offer here in houston, but I am more interested in personal experience with them and how did they work for you in both short and long terms. Most of the stuff I read has been only to praise each union, but which business doesn’t do that, so I want to know the good and bad of the union yourself have joined and which ones you recommend.

What is the best credit card to suit my needs?

I want a credit card with a good balance tranfer offer. Six months at 0% will do fine.

It might be nice for it to be otherwise a good credit card too because I might pay the balance off in about a month and still want to use the credit card.

I already have a Amazon credit card with Chase so I think I need to use a different bank.

The Best Credit Card.?

I’m thinking of switching my Amex Clear to another credit card. I like Amex and their customer service is awesome but less and less businesses out there using Amex service anymore due to their high service charge. So it’s very inconvenience for me. I thought of getting Capital One credit cards but very alarmed on how many people got trouble because of it. All the research that I did make me even confuse so I’m just going to ask a real people who have a real experiences with their credit cards, Who have the best credit card offer out there…and if the company also have a great customer service (meaning any issues or concerns are satisfactorily resolved in timely manner) I have an excellent credit score thus I don’t want any credit card company that will mess around with it either… Thank you for your help

I got a pre-approval from Chase Credit Cards for 0% APR yet when I got the card they didn't honor it? Help

Chase promised me a 0% APR for the 1st 6-months with a pre-approval letter they sent me. This is not the 1st time I got a pre-approval with a 0% interest rate for the 1st 6-months—-I GOT other cards and I was just fine with them.

HOWEVER–Chase is different. Now they tell me that they never guaranteed that rate AND if the interest rate were to increase they DON’t HAVE TO NOTIFY me per my membership agreement. What the hell?

help.
